We would like to offer a huge welcome our latest client to join us at our City Business Centre Dog Friendly. James and the team at company Dog Friendly will be moving into the business centre in June and we are delighted to have them join our community of Horsham based businesses.
Dog Friendly Workplace
These days more and more offices are allowing dogs to be part of the community and although it is not always possible due to allergies and regulatory concerns, companies are starting to realize the many benefits of adopting a dog friendly workplace. Needspace? has a portfolio of seven business centres in London and the South East and where clients are able to access their units directly such as Horsham City Business Centre, and not via a communal entrance, we can. Horsham City Business Centre is therefore perfect for James and his furry friend.
Apart from not having to leave one’s best friend at home all day, the presence of dogs in the workspace has been demonstrated to have many positive effects including improved productivity and morale whilst relieving stress. Some other benefits in improved communication between work colleagues, healthier lifestyles and even employee retention. So there is a lot to be said of been able to work in an environment that allows dogs to share your office space with you and we are pleased to be able to offer our clients this benefit at the Horsham City Business Centre.
Dog Friendly Idea
James has a really interesting business which serves a real need for dog owners. James told us that,
“We started the DogFriendly database and the magazine after we struggled to find suitable accommodation and places to visit when on holiday with their dogs.”
He continues, “Our aim to provide dog lovers with information and inspiration on exploring dog friendly places throughout the country. All members have access to the most detailed information on dog friendly places available anywhere in the UK today. We have more than 40,000 businesses registered on our databases including hotels, self-catering cottages and properties, pubs, beaches and days-out, where you and your dogs will be welcomed.”
The DogFriendly team contact every hotel and every pub on the search directory once a year to ensure that they are still dog friendly and that the details they hold are correct.
As a member of DogFriendly, clients can search the directory by town or county and you will be presented with dog friendly places in that area. For hotels and places to stay, visitors will also find details on how many dogs they will accept, whether or not you can leave the dog’s alone in the room, how much you will be charged if you take your dog and of course, whether or not the owner of the hotel has a dog!
Promote Your Business
James notes that “If you would like your business to be a promoted listing and be seen at the top of the searches in your area, plus be able to add multiple photos (up to 30 images), you can pay a small annual premium to gain more visibility. You can also create a banner that will be seen by visitors throughout our site.”
